MockCode — Privacy Policy CPR Simulation Tracker Last updated: June 2026

  1. Overview MockCode is a CPR simulation facilitation tool designed exclusively for educational and training purposes. This Privacy Policy explains how MockCode handles information when you use the application. MockCode is built with privacy as a core principle. The application does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data remains on your device.
  2. Data We Do Not Collect MockCode does not collect or transmit: • Personal information (name, email, contact details) • Patient data of any kind • Location data • Device identifiers • Usage analytics • Crash reports to external servers • Any data to third-party services
  3. Data Stored on Your Device MockCode stores the following information locally on your device only, using standard device storage (UserDefaults / local storage): • Recent session summaries (team name, scenario, CCF, date) — up to 5 sessions • Your agreement to the disclaimer — stored as a simple flag • No session content, clinical data, or patient information is retained This data never leaves your device and is deleted when the app is uninstalled.
  4. Session Data and Reports MockCode generates session reports containing CPR quality metrics and clinical event timestamps. These reports: • Are generated entirely on your device • Are only exported when you explicitly tap Export Report • Are saved as a text file to your device — you control where it goes • Contain only anonymised metrics — no patient identifiers • Are never automatically transmitted anywhere
  5. No Internet Connection Required MockCode operates entirely offline. No internet connection is required to use any feature of the application. The clinical algorithm, scorecard, and all functionality run locally on your device. This makes MockCode suitable for use in environments with restricted network access, including hospital simulation centres.
  6. Third-Party Services MockCode does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data services. No third party has access to any data generated by your use of MockCode.
  7. Children’s Privacy MockCode is intended for use by qualified healthcare educators and professionals. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
  8. Medical Disclaimer MockCode is a simulation facilitation tool for educational purposes only. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and must not be used in clinical settings with real patients. All clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the qualified facilitator. MockCode accepts no clinical or legal responsibility for any outcome in any setting.
  9. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the application with an updated date. Continued use of MockCode after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
